Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCAs) is an annual accolade presented by MultiChoice recognising outstanding achievement in television and film.
Co-habits‘on Akwaaba Magic and Showmax has been nominated for best comedy series at the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCAs).

The series features award-winning media personality and host of Asaase Café, Caroline Sampson.

Directed by Peter Sedufia (Sidechic Gang), ‘Co-Habits’ is a story about two lovers, Kay (Fiifi Coleman) and Lily (Caroline Sampson), who are gearing towards marriage but decide to cohabit first just to see how compatible they are before they say “I do”.

‘Co-Habits’ also stars Jeffery Nortey, Jackie Ankrah and the Canadian-born Ghanaian actress, Hailey Sumney.

Co-habits is a romantic sitcom that follows a young couple who navigate side-splitting reality checks when they decide to test-drive their marriage by discreetly cohabiting to reduce their chances of divorce. What ensues are funny situations and occurrences that threaten the foundation of their relationship.

Barack Obama has graced us with another year of his musical musings, sharing his top tracks of 2023 just before the year ends. As usual, his playlist features a vibrant mix of genres, highlighting the sounds that kept him grooving through the year.

Afrobeats was not left out, with tracks like Davido and Musa Keys‘ “Unavailable,” Tems‘ “Me & U,” and the Grammy-nominated “Amapiano” by Asake and Olamide. Burna Boy, a repeat fave from Obama’s 2022 list, makes another appearance with “Sittin’ On Top Of The World,” alongside 21 Savage.

R&B also shines, with Megan Thee Stallion‘s “Cobra,” Stromzy and Fredo‘s “Toxic Trait,” Victoria Monét‘s “On My Mama” and Tyla‘s “Water.”
